Dear teachers and friends,

I am delighted, that Clifford School's enrollment has attained a record high of 2000 students for the school year of 2005-2006. As Chairman of the School Board, please accept my congratulations to all of our school staff.

The development of Clifford School from those first couple of students to this record enrollment today has proved the School Board's vision and leadership, and that the school's distinctive bilingual program is duly recognized among students and parents. This new record in student number is the result of the dedication of the school's staff. Thank you for your diligence and contribution.

This new school year is the tenth anniversary of Clifford School. Looking ahead, I am confident that Clifford Education will have a bright future full of potential. In the new school year, I expect all of you to continue the fine traditions of Clifford School, to seek academic ideals in a pragmatic manner, and to promote team unity and spirit. It is the eternal theme of Clifford School to raise the quality of its educational services and the primay goal of pursuing academic success through innovation.

To better the quality of our educational services, and to strive for excellence, we need to further promote our sense of service. Our education should cater to the needs of the students, the parents, and the Chinese and world communities. All these needs should be highly emphasized in our educational objectives. A stronger concept of service should be reflected and parcticed in all educational aspects such as the loving-care project, moral education, humane care, emotional and psychological development and the distinctive academic programs. I hope that all of our teachers consider the students' success and their families' hppiness, as your own, as it is impossible without your excellent teaching and services. I hope that you hold these goals as your mission to develop outstanding talent for our country and the world.

Finally, on behalf the School Board, I welcome our new teachers, both Chinese and Western, to Clifford School, and I wish all of our teachers another successful year!
