Clifford Elementary Visiting Hong Kong
ĦĦIn July, 2002, a file of over 70 teachers and students from Clifford Elementary arrived in Hong Kong, visited Hong Kong Science Museum, Ocean Park, History Museum, and Mipu Nature Reserves, etc. They climbed to the park on top of Taiping Mountain to have a bird-eye view of Hong Kong. They came to Golden Redbud Plaza, looked up on the grand national-flag raising ceremony. They joined in the training exercise in the scout camp in Wuxisha on tent erecting, self-aid in emergency, run-for-life, seeking treasure, etc., and they stepped on stage for art performance together with their counterparts. This meaningful visit provides our students with a picture of the prosperity and liveliness of Hong Kong in an all-round way after its turnover to Continent China.
