teachers and children. Being in China has been a great experience.
I love traveling and have seen a lot of China, I only wish my Chinese
was a bit better! The children in China are very friendly and always

Other: Matthew Zandstra has been teaching since 1996 and has
been on the Clifford Bilingual Faculty for the last four years. This
year he has traded in his team leader position in grades four, five
and six to join the secondary bilingual program. There he will serve
as team leader for grades 7-12. Matt is an American who received his
undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. He completed
his bachelor¡¯s degree in English and Creative writing in 1992. He
also has a Master¡¯s Degree from Aquinas College. Matt¡¯s beautiful
wife Erin is also on staff at Clifford and is in her fifth year in
the Kindergarten. He has four children, Olivia (9), Jackson (6), and
Owen (4), and Liam (6months) who was born in Hong Kong last February.
Matt is an avid tri-athlete who enjoys spending time with his family
and friends, traveling and scuba diving.
